strawberries and cream

Think most people will have a box like this somewhat, oki maybe it applies more to females. But this box here contains lots of letters and cards from the past. Was bored the other day and i took it out to read. Some cards were dated back to 1991 or so. That’s so long ago, considering its already 2010 right now!

Always wonder how these people are doing in their lives right now, hopefully its good. But then again, even if i manage to find them again, feels weird to actually talk to them since we lost contact for so long. Be more awkward if there are long pauses and such in the conversation. Ah well, im thinking too much. haha!

But there were some letters in between. Letters written on fulscap paper from classmates. Back then it was kinda hard to talk in class as some teachers are rather strict so we will resort to letter writings, decorating them and folding into nice shapes and then asking fellow classmates to help us pass to the intended recipient. Those were the days. Days where writing letters can end up with a few pages.. Now ask me to write email, i also feel lazy. haha. yes, maybe its just me only , like again! FML. :/

But reading back those letters, i dont really remember some of the people that were mentioned in the letters or the events that had happened. But some other stuffs brought a smile to my face while others made me laugh cause i happened to remember a little of it. heh. Yea, those were the old days where people will “advertise” themselves in teen magazines for penpals to exchange letters with. Ah. I even remember having alot of those pretty letter writing pads and envelopes. I never did used them. Just liked collecting stationery. Then again, till now i like collecting such thing, but i “graduated” from writing pads to note books. The boy is very afraid to let me go into stationery shops these days cause i will have the urge to buy some cute notebooks each time we step in and i never used any of them. I have alot unused ones at home! haha! :/ But seriously some are real nice looking! It’s seriously hard to resist oki! :/

I also remembered i love going to stationery shops when i was kid, i loveeed buying pens/pencils/etc. haha! old habit die hard. Impulse buyer. Sigh. Even till now, i’m always buying things that i still dont use. Ugh.

Must stop thaaat habit!
